| A plastic cover which slips over the tote will protect the pet in the event of wind or rain. Caution must be used when using the plastic cover in warm temperatures, as the cover will create a greenhouse effect in direct sunlight. Always be aware of the temperature your pet is comfortable and monitor it closely during hot or cold weather conditions. |
| If the weather is cooler, the cloth cover can be fitted over the plastic cover to keep the pet warm and dry. This cover also serves to block daylight and provide an overnight sleeping cage. |
