Genesis Aviaries warrants that, at time of purchase, the bird/s invoiced appear in good health. The BUYER is encouraged to have the bird/s examined by a Qualified Avian Veterinarian of his/her choice within 5 days of purchase at the expense of the BUYER. If during this 5 day period, the bird/s are found to have a medical condition or disease that impinges upon their health or well-being as determined by the examining avian veterinarian, Genesis Aviaries agrees at its discretion, to either refund** to the BUYER the *purchase price* or to replace** said bird/s with bird/s of the same species, sex (if known) and age - or bird/s of equal/lesser value, if so agreed by the BUYER. We require a written statement from the Qualified Avian Vet within 5 days of purchase before a refund/replacement** can be issued. The BUYER is responsible for any and all Veterinary costs. We do NOT guarantee the sex of a bird/s. At your request we may provide a DNA test to determine sex for an additional $30.00 charge. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a bird/s. Bird/s may be held until weaned. Bird/s held subsequent to weaning are subject to a $10 per day boarding fee. If the buyer does not contact Genesis Aviaries within 24 hours of a scheduled pick-up the deposit is forfeit and the bird/s will be re-sold. Genesis Aviaries will call/email you when your bird is weaned and ready – once this call is made, you will have 30 days to pick-up/receive your bird/s and during this 30 day period boarding fees of $10 per day will apply. (Per bird) Your full-payment obligates you to pick-up/receive your bird/s when the bird/s is/are weaned. If you cannot pick up the bird, arrangements may be made for boarding at $10 per day, per bird (payable before bird/s is/are released). If you do not pick-up/receive your bird/s ~ or make arrangements with Genesis Aviaries within 30 days of the bird/s' weaning - the bird/s will be re-sold and all refunds become null and void. If Genesis Aviaries is unable to contact you during this 30 day period you will lose all rights to the bird/s and receive no refund. (If you will be away on vacation when your bird/s wean,you must inform Genesis Aviaries and make arrangements for boarding. - If you have a family matter or health issue that prevents you from picking up/receiving your bird/s, you must make arrangemenst with Genesis Aviaries or send someone to receive the bird on your behalf.) Priority is always given to the birds' welfare. Payment in full is required before any bird/s will be released. We accept cash, cheque, money order, direct deposit, Email transfer, PayPal. Cheques are required clearance before the release of any bird/s. We will ship birds within Canada weather permitting and at the expense of the BUYER. Shipping via airplane requires an added minimum $30 Carrier fee. Shipping via airlines has an additional $30 fuel/handling charge. **Due to circumstances beyond our control we do NOT guarantee shipped birds. **Refunds do NOT include the $50 non-refundable deposit. *Please note the definition of "NON-REFUNDABLE" means you will not get the $50 deposit back. Please take this into consideration BEFORE placing a deposit. |
